Crap: iOS: Troubleshooting Personal Hotspot: “You can’t share your cellular data connection with another iPhone using Bluetooth.”—Why I use a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos; not even remotely funny. Crap: Ars was briefly hacked yesterday. Crap: My Fiber7 Internet connection; still stuck; with Swisscom; but this works: @fiber7_ch Asus RT-AC68U […] geht Doch. NAT Acceleration unter LAN auf AUTO !!. Crap: Apple has lost the functional high ground; and Apple’s Software Quality, Continued. Da les ich, gespannt, das Using USB 3 devices on Mac computers FAQ, nicke zu Barefeats’ USB 3.0 Bus-Powered Single Drive Storage Devices und stelle fest, RAID 5 gibt’s nun auch Software-basiert für (Mac) OS X: Man nehme also einen Mac mini (Late 2012) und 3 x 1 TB WD Elements. Ergibt ein Cheapo RAID 5. Macht fast 200 MB/s.

Das reicht dann auch für die Internet-Leitung mit 118 MB/s. Die’s nun zu Hause, wie letztes Mal besprochen, für CHF 64.75/Monat gibt. Aber nicht mit deren MicroTik RB2011UiAS–2HnD-IN-Router, sondern mit einem Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite, dessen Konfiguration mir noch bevorsteht.

Mächtig gestaunt hab ich aber, als ich mir die gratis Variante von Microsofts Office 365 genauer angeschaut habe; unter “Options” > “Office file formats” findet sich da:
